Crazy.

I can't believe it's already been a full year since Mike Wieringo passed away. I can't even remember what I was doing a year ago today, but I can sure remember what I was doing a year ago tomorrow, the 13th.

I can't believe it's been a year since I've read one of Mike's blog posts or seen a new sketch from him on dA. Crazy.

Work kept me very busy today, which helped so I didn't dwell. Afterward, coming home, I read some comics, sketched and set up some comic pages for a project I'm working on. Couldn't think of anything more fitting to do on a day like today.

It's been a weird year full of ups and downs. Mostly downs. But I am honored that I was able to work on a few projects this past year dedicated to Mike's memory. It will always mean something very special to me.
